GTK mnemonics don't work #1

The key accelerators do not work in the GTK GUI.

Just to clarify, the correct terminology for the underlined letter in each gui 
menu
item is "mnemonic", not "accelerator". Fixed this problem in r217.

Thanks for addressing this. No wonder I couldn't figure out why they weren't 
working. Just a comment, while the main mnemoics work, the pulldown menus still 
don't for me. 

This should be an easy fix now that we know what to look for.

Sorry, this is a GNOME configuration issue. As I'm on KDE my GNOME defaults are 
poor. Iceweasel and GIMP do the same thing so we're Gtk 2.0 correct. 

I just need to find the setting. :)

I found using my window manager (fluxbox) that after you hit Alt+mnemonic to 
open the
menu, you can't use Alt+mnemonic for the submenu items. You just hit the 
mnemonic key
of the submenu item by itself. So for example, to open a rom, do Alt+F to open 
the
File menu, then just press O by itself to select open rom. Alt+O doesn't work.
