Swap button sometimes gets out of sync due to rapid clicking #111

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Search for a valid article, such as "Darth Vader"
2. Quickly click on the article thumbnail and/or the alternating "View Full 
Article" and "View Full Map" buttons.
3. Enough rapid clicking and the images will be out of sync and display "view 
full map" when the map is already visible, or "view full article" when the 
article is already visible.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output/behavior is that the buttons toggle correctly and never get 
out of sync.  I'm filing this bug on myself but I'm not 100% sure how to solve 
it.
