As we all know, the Kinobotz bot currently runs on C#. While C# is a strong and robust language, I believe a conversion to JavaScript could offer numerous benefits to the project.
Reasons for this proposal:
Cross-Platform Compatibility: JavaScript runs smoothly on numerous platforms, which could expand the user base and contributors for this bot.
Web-Friendly: As Twitch is a web-based platform, using a language that is natively supported by web browsers makes sense.
Community Engagement: The JavaScript community is vast and active, which might make it easier to attract contributors to help with the bot’s development.
Lightweight: JavaScript tends to be lighter than C#, which might help the bot to run more efficiently, especially on limited resources.
I am well aware that this is a significant change, but I believe it’s worth considering for the future growth and success of the Kinobotz bot.
