We keep missing cats in the house https://github.com/kinu-garage/30y-130s_life/issues/1633. Even without knowing exact location in the house, knowing whether they are in the house or not can add practical values to our household.

The way I manually do is following. It's costly to me, taking up 15 to 30 mins easily:

Track back the footage of all home security cameras until I hit all the videos where I see cats in.
If I don't see one of them at minimum in the video from the last several hours, go visit all rooms, cabinets, underneath furnitures.

For now the easiest, dumbest, non-automated solution may be to set a camera at the specific place(s) in the house where cats regularly come, i.e. food station and litter box.
