Not easy (or impossible) to find the state license status of home services in the state of GA #908

Primary motivation came from https://github.com/kinu-garage/30y-130s_life/issues/1807 where I needed roof repair service, but this has been and will be my concern in other cases.

I wanted to screen by license status that I can see on verify.sos.ga.gov but very little service providers found on G-Maps don't come up on that system. Am I looking at wrong places??

Take roofing service for example here (NOTE: Do not get me wrong, I am NOT accusing of any businesses listed here for their license status not being available on ga.gov. This is just the result of my online search)

Maybe the state of GA is in the midst of improving licensing scheme having looked at https://sos.ga.gov/goals. I'll wait to see if this goes.
