2024 dedicated document scanner

One of the motivations that I have to come up with https://github.com/kinu-garage/hut_10sqft/issues/902 is the dissatisfaction with the doc scanning feature on a printer-scanner. In the 2 previously owned printer-scanners, I've not been content with the feature.

Req (subject to update): The ones that are checked are already achieved by the Brother one https://github.com/kinu-garage/hut_10sqft/issues/446

• [x] Save to cloud, without a need to create a designated account (i.e. utilize existing cloud service and account e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox).
• [x] Wifi or any wirelss connection. No Ethernet required.
• [x] Both sides scanned if selected so.
• [x] Jamming occurs less.
• [x] Generates searchable PDF i.e. OCR.
• [ ] Operation takes less than 5 steps
  • Brother https://github.com/kinu-garage/hut_10sqft/issues/446 takes 7+ operations, which is way too much. This maybe a single, show-stopper downside that got me motivate to get a new device.
• [ ] Upper limit of the size to scan from an auto feeder: Letter, and more.
• [ ] Upon an error during a scan, what's already been scanned will still be printed as a pdf.

Indeed I need a better doc scanner feature, but having another device occupy space in my already-crumbled office is a no.
