Consider dropping python 2? #100

Python 2 has been EOL for more than 4 years now. Would you consider dropping support for python 2?

[!NOTE] We're using this library in Sentry as part of our cron monitoring product. I am looking at tackling the DST bugs that exist. I would like to also spend some time cleaning up the library source code to make it easier to contribute to.

Consider my issue another +1 to dropping support :-)
