Only 3 blocks will match at a time #12

Match 4 and Match 5 aren't possible currently, instead picking 3 blocks and finishing the clear.

I think all related blocks which are adjacent to the match should be included, which could increase the match from topping out at 5. Theoretically a match of over 5 could be set up and performed, initiated by the match 3 as illustrated below, assuming all blocks are of the same type.

This will create many more set-up chances, and raise the skill ceiling and allow a bit more depth in play
