This got reported to me by one of our players, after unloading plugins on a test setup I managed to figure out that Auction House is the plugin causing this behavior.

Im not sure how it's possible that any player can outright parse any placeholderapi placeholder in plain chat when auctionhouse is loaded. I wasn't suspecting this plugin at all to cause this when debugging.
