Subversion repository messed up?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to create a working directory for the subversion. 
2. Type: svn co http://google-checkout-php-sample-code.googlecode.com/svn 
checkout

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect it to work. Instead I get this output:

...
A    checkout/trunk/demo/digitalcart.php
A    checkout/trunk/demo/lineItemShipping.php
A    checkout/trunk/demo/lineitemshipping.php
svn: In directory 'checkout/trunk/demo'
svn: Can't open file 
'checkout/trunk/demo/.svn/tmp/text-base/digitalcart.php.svn-base': No such file 
or directory

(Notice the difference in case of the filename lineItemShipping.php)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using Mac OS X 10.6

Please provide any additional information below.
