We should upgrade to Ionic v8: https://ionicframework.com/docs/updating/8-0 Apart from being up to date with current Ionic releases, we need it for the Angular 18 upgrade. Note that it should be v8.2.0 or above as per this footnote: https://ionicframework.com/docs/reference/support#footnote-label
