Provide a more comprehensive languages file #125

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

Xiphos uses a very comprehensive languages file.

And Bible should follow suit, so that newer modules such as Central Kurdish and
Pohnpeian may have a proper language name displayed for these documents.

I have attached the languages file which is installed by Xiphos 3.1.5 (webkit)

Please advise whether users can edit the equivalent file for And Bible and (if
so) please indicate where it is located.

The language code for Khmer is also not yet recognized by And Bible.
i.e. This line in the file khmernt.conf

Lang=khm

Hi David,

I think it should be:
Lang=km

Could you try and let me know if it works.

I can't find the official list, but JSword contains an entry for km and also
this page:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khmer_language
does indeed list both km & khm as language codes.
See right hand panel.

I think the Khmer issue was resolved and that DM resolved the shortened
language file problem in an update to JSword some time ago.

I am closing this issue. Please reopen if there are outstanding issues.
