I'm not 100% sure, but I think this might be due to the function _python_argcomplete_
ending with my script's path, which includes /
chars. I looked at the line in compdump throwing the error and compared it from a working state to a broken state, and this was one of the only differences (besides the other _python_argcomplete_*
functions)
Don't really have much more time to look into it currently but would greatly appreciate a fix.
We're already replacing /
with _
for fish, perhaps we should apply a similar change to all shells?
I'm using zsh 5.8.1 (x86_64-apple-darwin21.0), python 3.10, argcomplete 2.0.0
My
~/.zshrc
:When I source this (or spawn a new terminal), I get a large error:
This only happened after I added the last two lines to my
zshrc
. Autocomplete works as expected with my script – but this error is really large and annoying to happen every time I open a new window.
