Hi Felix, just to let you know that a free software drm+ receiver is now available: https://github.com/Opendigitalradio/qt-drmplus

I realized the python gui has no Mode E support. It would be nice to have it there. ; )

Hi Rafael, thanks for letting me know! Honestly, I don't know when I will get around to that, but I couldn't agree more in that it would be a great addition to gr-drm!

rafael2k commented 7 years ago

Hi Felix. I'll try to test Mode E here and add it to the gui and, if everything go smooth, I send a pull request.

fwunsch commented 7 years ago

Sounds good! If you integrate it, could you make it optional at build-time? Else, the entire ODR project becomes a dependency...

Hi Felix. I'm just planning to add Mode E to the gr-drm python gui (already supported in gr-drm, just not in the python gui, only modes A to D are there), and test gr-drm with ODR DRM+ receiver. Nothing really related to integrating or linking with any ODR project. ; )

Just a hint, that at https://github.com/Opendigitalradio/qt-drmplus/issues/6 there are two DRM+ samples from St. Petersburg.
