The product generated by the project MUST be released as Free/Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS) using an OSI and/or FSF approved license, which is included or stated in a standard location of the source repository.
Notes:
Make sure that all externally provided components (such as libraries or executable assets) are compatible and used in your projects in accordance with their respective licenses.
It is a good idea to stick with well-known FLOSS-licensed dependencies for generating and using your product. Some care is needed when combining copyleft with permissive FLOSS licenses.
Always cleanly separate possibly proprietary or incompatible components that are required for the functioning of the project. If possible, avoid such dependencies. If not possible, prefer using components that can be obtained and used free of charge for at least non-commercial applications.
