I was referring to Secure Multi-Party Computation which in general is interested in methods/protocols that allow:

[...] parties to jointly compute a function over their inputs while keeping those inputs private.

Whether this feasible or desirable is not clear but can agree that it would be a stronger alternative to a privacy policy that would increase Kite's appeal to users, especially given the type of user it is meant to benefit.
