Browsing venue (not yet added to DB) returns 'Invalid Query'

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Switch to 'Friends' tab
2. Select a friend at a venue not yet added (fully populated) in the foursquare 
database
3. Select the venue from "Last seen"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expect being taken to the placeholder venue page or a helpful message

Instead returned with "Invalid Query" (not useful for user)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Latest (8/30/09)
Cupcake (1.5)
G1 Dev Unit

What do you mean a venue that is not fully populated?

I'm referring to when you 'add' a new venue but opt not to populate with the 
address (thus, returning to the 
website will show the 'Add venue' link). Does that help?
