microphone modification instructions missing #1

This is a really cool PCB and i really like the nano vna results and modified the antenna according to the instructions. Now it also states on the PCB:"Read Instructions about how to modify microphone" now my microphone has a noise floor of 72db (which i find a lot) and i read that and looked everywhere but can not find the information on modifying it. I don't know where i can find the instructions nor what this modification would do but i am guessing its to do with the high signal noise. Please if someone could help me get these instructions i would love to mod it even more.

Hi,The wrong dB results are almost certain due to a mistake in the processing software. The noisefloor of the mic is about 34 dB.To mount the microphone in an optimal position you can break it off and solder it back in a 90 degree angle. You can glue it into a piece of tube. After my holiday I will publish more of the design considerations. And why we use two cpu's. So give us a few weeks...Regards,AndriesAndries Lohmeijer Technical Director KITT Engineering m:     +31 (0)6 53625700 p:     +31 (0) 53 4315700 a:     Josink Esweg 22        7545 PN, Enschede, The Netherlands w:     www.kitt.nl     e:  @. -------- Oorspronkelijk bericht --------Van: tjallingk @.> Datum: 27-09-2024 16:38 (GMT+01:00) Aan: kittengineering/Omgevingsmonitor_Hardware @.> Cc: Subscribed @.> Onderwerp: [kittengineering/Omgevingsmonitor_Hardware] microphone modification instructions missing (Issue #1) This is a really cool PCB and i really like the nano vna results and modified the antenna according to the instructions.
