This is not the designed behavior.
Have you tried pressing the RESET button after it is plugged in a 5V adapter? Have you tried using another 5V adapter, another USB cable, and/or placing the monitor at a different location?

Thank you for the reply! Reset after plugging in the USB-C seems to solve the issue and reconnect to the Wi-Fi, i will try some more.
Another question, do you know if the device currently already has MQTT / API or some kind of webpage that i can access locally to check the status and or readings of the device?
On the WIKI page (https://wiki.deomgevingsmonitor.nl/index.php/ConfigMode) there is a remark that reads: " the current code is not yet efficient enough to work on the solar panel, so for now we can keep it powered using an old phone charger with a USB-C cable)"
However after successfully having setup the device to my Wi-Fi network and while it is sending data to https://deomgevingsmonitor.nl/ as soon as i plug in the USB-C cable the connection is lost and the device goes into reset state..
The same behavior as when i would follow the steps below:
Then when i remove the cable and press the RESET button once, it will reconnect to the Wi-fi and starts sending data again.
Is this as designed?
