Skanky Great list. Here's a good one you can add: OK Google, read my latest [text/email] messages. Or, OK Google, read my latest [text/email] messages from [name] It even does variations, like date ranges, and probably other search criteria. It's extremely powerful.

"OK Google, continue podcast."

Works for Play Music, which is what I use for podcasts. I have no idea what it will do if you have another podcast app installed.

While navigating, you can ask variations on these, and probably more:

Messaging

"Send a hangouts message" "Send a Hangouts message to [name]"

Also works with WhatsApp and probably others as well.

Chromecast playback: You can say "Resume playback and "Pause Playback" while chromecasting something. Now that I think about it, this probably works with all apps that listen to mediacontrols?

Snuupy commented 8 years ago

Brightness: "turn up the brightness to max" works as well

  • Pause - Pauses the video.
  • Play - Resumes the video.
  • Stop - Stops the video and quits buffering, works exactly like switching to another app and switching back.
  • Minimize - Moves the video to the tiny window at the bottom right.
  • Maximize - Makes the video full screen.
  • Exit, Close player - Closes the video, but leaves YouTube open.
  • Play on..., Connect to... - Starts playing the video on another device, choices are TV, Chromecast, or Console. Unfortunately, you can't seem to be able to say the name of the device (such as a Chromecast's name).
  • Disconnect from... - The opposite of the last command, stops playing the video on a remote device.
  • Skip ads - Somewhat self-explanatory.
