We could easily add an ultrasound speaker and sound it every now and then to repell voles while the device is taking care of a plot.

@doramelindatunde please find out what frequencies and what volume we need to repel the kinds of animals we might want to repel.

uuu, interesting - usually voles dig up the plot right after any soil disturbance (seeding), which is like the worst time possible. However, we do not want to deter voles completely, they do a great cleanup-job of all sorts of insect larvae and their tunnels do not really disturb plant root growth
