Hi, have you been able to resolve it? Can you share your buildozer.spec? this is so weird :)
I stopped working on this now, but I did get it to work. I started from scratch, not using the provided Linux box, but from an new one. Don't recall exact steps but it eventually worked..

I guess distribute.sh
was part of the old p4a code base, closing
I am using buildozer in vitualbox (with the image provided on the site). I was able to successfully build an android package earlier, and was very happy to see it work. But today, it just stopped working!?
See the error message below. It says no buildozer.spec found in current directory, when it is there.
I cannot figure out what happened---as far as I recall I did not change anything in the system setup. And if I purposely delete the buildozer.spec file, then it immediately complains, instead of running through all those checks shown in the debug log. I also tried deleting the .buildozer files in the local folder to make sure it is working off a fresh build---but it still resulted in the same error.
I am building a basic MyPaintApp sample provided PS: I edited the default buildoze.spec so that it uses version method 2, but left all the other defaults.
Thanks for your help and a great tool.
