Didn't applied commit https://github.com/kivy/kivy/commit/886187117e774f3e9d33908d7317c07bf3bedce6 on these packaging files. Please (re-)open a issue for that if you like.

https://github.com/kivy/kivy/tree/pkg-debian-stable and files at:
https://github.com/kivy/kivy/commits/master/kivy/tools/packaging/linux can be savely removed.
