I have a working app that runs on windows and Android version 8. I recently changed my phone that runs Android 10q. Now the same app is not working as expected. Notably the MDRectangleFlatIconButton does not seem to be propagating the on_release event. Here is the KV part

MDRectangleFlatIconButton:
        id: file_chooser
        text: "Choose a transaction file"
        icon: "folder"
        size_hint: 0.8,0.1
        pos_hint: { 'center_x': 0.5,'center_y': 0.8 }
        on_release: app.file_manager_open()

Can somebody try to replicate this?

HeaTTheatR commented 3 years ago

@tksundar Please describe your question in one message, attach a minimal code that may be run without additional manipulations, so developers can look at the working script and fix it. Also write what you expect from the script and what happened wrong. If needed, attach links or screenshots to explain us what you want to do.

@HeaTTheatR Problem: MDRectangleFlatIconButton does not seem to be propagating the on_release event on android 10q. It works on android 8 and windows

Here is the code you can run on windows.
