In-app remote volume, mute, and power buttons not working. #721

When using the software remote in iOS/iPadOS, the mute and power buttons are greyed out, and the volume buttons on the phone no longer adjust the volume on the TV.

Pressing the volume buttons don't even cause the codes show up as fired in the debug log.

Same Here, Once very so often I will See the volume control, but most of the Time When I attempt to raise the volume, I Only See the Phones ringer raise...

This is an iOS issue/bug, it was happening to me in iOS 17. I’ve upgraded to latest 18 beta and all the buttons are working.
