Tablet Mode: Tabs in tab bar are unreadable under certain conditions

When scrolling up, going lower on the website the tab bar disappears at the top of the screen. When I scroll down again to go upwards in the website, the address bar and the tab bar reappears again, but the tab button content is most of the time unreadable (random pixel and lines in different colors instead). This also happens when opening new tabs. It looks as if the content of the tab buttons is not properly initialized and rendered only after some delay or not at all.

I just got a Galaxy Tab S8 (base model) today, and I am experiencing a similar issue with the text in tabs becoming unreadable. Curiously, I also have a Galaxy Tab S7, and it does not have this issue, so it seems this might be something specific to the hardware in the S8.
