open in app none existent #288

There is no "Open in App" button like in chrome or FF.

I saw another user post that kiwi was auto opening available apps. I have not experienced this behavior. To the contrary nothing is opening in the app. YouTube, Amazon. Reddit can but that functionality is built into the site, like TikTok where they try to force you into their apps.

Is there a flag I can turn out to make installed apps open the links instead of kiwi?

Thanks y'all

I tried this from the Google Play store description: "Advanced users: If you want to open links with an external application, you can long-press on the link, or change the default setting in Settings, Accessibility."

Long press didn't open the app for me. I tried Amazon

Settings -> accessibility -> open in external apps

I am looking to open the app version of a website when needed, not all the time. Does this option open in external apps all the time?

Firefox & Samsung Internet Browser have the ability to open the app version only when needed. I'm wondering if Kiwi has the same functionality.
