If the automatic Simplified View is being dismissed, or allowed to disappear, it can't be enabled back for that same page.
It would be extremely useful to have a quicky accessible toggle for rendering a page in simplified view.
Whilst there are a lot of chrome extensions that can provide similar functionalities, I think this one shone handled natively, as it's an already existing feature, and it only requires some sort of manual control.
