Kiwi browser lacks the functionality to adjust everything according to system wide dark mode. running on android 11, the moment I hit dark mode, kiwi browser stays white as usual. tried fiddling around with the themes, kiwi browser does not listen to system wide dark mode.

You've checked Settings » Theme? *Note: The home page will never take effect of dark mode you've to check dark mode for websites to do so

Are you on latest release?

I am using system default theme and I have no issue.

so there is nothing I can do in order to automatically add dark mode to websites as well?

and yes, running the last version

If you install the extension Dark Reader (recommended), it has an Auto option. Note that this does not affect the New Tab Page, which will always have a bright white background unless you manually turn on Kiwi's night mode. If that bothers you, consider installing the extension NextNTP.

If I turn on night mode and change the browser theme to system, the system theme changes the page color to white/dark based on system theme.

This was working on my old phone running A11, but new Pixel running A12 does not seem to work like this for me.

Edit: I thought this was working on my old phone the way I described, but it's not working there either. I'm not sure why this seemed to be working for me at one point.

It would be nice to function the same way default chrome does when you enable the "auto dark mode for web contents" and "darken websites checkbox in themes setting" so that when the Android theme setting gets changed from light/dark, the Kiwi theme would change for both the address bar/settings and the webpages.
