Describe the bug After clicking "Select folder for overrides" in devtools –Sources view, the Google Files app that opens for browsing to the desired overrides directory only allows to choose a file. The same things apply to "Add folder..." in workspace settings (in dev tools as well).

To Reproduce Open dev tools, tap "Sources" and "Select folder for overrides" then try to choose a folder. Or go to dev tools' settings, tap "Workspace" and "Add folder..."

Expected behavior It should be possible to choose an existing folder instead of a file.

Screenshots There should be a bar allowing to select current folder at the bottom. Screenshot_20220108-131400

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

Additional context The screen browsing for a directory looks like this: Screenshot_20220108-131244

There is a bar allowing me to choose the directory.

+1 for this. I really need this to debugging on my phone.

Even I select a file, it does nothing.

yet another +1. i really need this to abandon the heritage of dual-device redundancy of the last decade and use android without limitation as a phone and work device running, editing and debugging js.

+1 This is crucial

is there a known limitation to this? connecting to a folder in the filesystem instead of a file? only thing standing between using a tablet as my work device until they finally make one with a desktop os, if thats even expectable before the collapse of the Milky Way.
