Describe the bug Eye piercing text/bg contrast in default night mode

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: Turn on night mode. Can't be configured any further

Expected behavior A contrast that respects natural legibility values. For reference check image at the bottom: WCAG Ideally a contrast index on the lower end (~7 for AAA) and (~5 for AA). Black on white, or white on black require different contrast adjustments not depicted in WCAG.
