Twitter videos not playing , perhaps if many tabs are open in the browser, but in Firefox twitter videos do play if many tabs open.

Twitter media viewer opens but videos don't autoplay, and pressing the play button doesn't start the video, but i think it tries to load the video - after a second or two the video in mediaviewer sort of "flashes" perhaps resorts to video thumbnail.

One needs to have a lot of tabs open - i think - could be a memory issue. (Though not on Firefox android).

Firefox mobile groups tabs that aren't used in a while to a list, sort of tab collection bookmarking, so those won't consume resources, and one can open those from tab list. I think Vivaldi mobile introduced similar a while ago.

Somekind of feature to bookmark inactive open tabs to the tab list etc might be good, if memory issue can't be improved.

Latest Play store version, I tried with just one tab open in the browser and still some of the videos won't play in the mediaviewer. It didn't used to be like that. I have cleared cache and browsing history/data but still.

Extensions in use: ublock origin, violentmonkey with few userscripts and control panel for Twitter .I tried disabling extensions but still.

Perhaps it's not a memory issue/lot's of tabs open. I dunno. Twitter has changed recently.

Same extensions in Firefox (beta), Twitter videos do play but not without pressing the play button twice (first the tweet and then in mediaviewer).

I uninstalled play store version and installed latest GitHub version - still some of Twitter videos don't play in the mediaviewer
