The backup MSE player sometimes hangs and I'm not sure why. It could use some love.

I wonder if you experienced those hangs with Firefox? Or it happened with Chrome too if MSE mode was enabled for whatever reason? I'm having a hard time with low latency MSE playback with Firefox (the video just freezes for good without any error indication after an arbitrary period of decent playback), trying to get enough evidence to blame Firefox as the culprit...
