Overriding local deps of libs with the system/installed/given lib #93

Sometimes you would like to use the more modern version of a lib that is included in some other lib. But you still would want to use the API and all the other stuff provided by the utility. There should be a way to pass a more modern version to such utilities.

(wouldn't and shouldn't the ^0.1.1 from npm be the solution?)
