Github does this. It will save this text if you leave the new issue page and display it again when you come back to the new issue page. It will also keep the text if you do a page refresh. Maybe, instead of warning people about leaving the rant submittal page, we can just store that rant info. Maybe this is a cookie implementation? We'd have to tie it to the user's session.
