Did you press the HOME button, or did the app just crash?
If it crashes, please install "Crash Reporter" from Cydia and check if you get
an crash log.

thanks for the crashlog. sadly, it doesn't give much help.
hm. I don't have all older versions. could you try installing an older version:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/5138628/GPS-1.5.1-27651.deb
(it won't properly register, but for now I'm interested if it crashes).

I installed the GPS-1.5.1-27651.deb and tried to sync.
The process is successful the program no longer crashes.
Sorry I forgot to mention that I tried to use the phone Samsung GT-i5500
running OS Android as a GPS navigator.
but for me it is not clear why BTstack GPS 1.7.2 crashes when paired with my
phone and BTstack GPS 1.5.1 not crash

Well, there is not reason for BTstack GPS to crash, ever. :) It was just an
idea.
I'm happy to fix this crash once I figure out why it happens.
What software do you use on the Samsung? (I have a Nexus 7 somewhere and
Wikipedia says it has a GPS..)
Could you post 2-3 more hci_dumps and crash logs? Maybe there is some pattern.

My Samsung GT-i5500 uses the Android 2.1
crash logs BTstack GPS 1.5.1 can not give because no crash :)

Thanks. All crash logs look similar (crashed in the main loop without further
cues about WHY)
What software did you use on the Android? If I can reproduce the crash locally,
I can fix it quickly.

Bluetooth GPS

One more request. Could you try with a real GPS device (of yourself or a
friend)? Just to make sure it is the GPS data from the Android devices. I'll
try to find and install one of the GPS apps on my Nexus 7 next.

short update. I've tried with one of the GPS solutions for Android and it
doesn't crash.
Sadly, I had to change my source code revision system recently which makes the
search for this bug harder.
What other tweaks do you have installed (related to Bluetooth or GPS or
Location services)

I had a cracked version AirBlue Sharing but I deleted it before installing
BTstack GPS 1.7.2
No more tweaks related to Bluetooth or GPS or Location services I did not
install

I seem to be having the same problem. As soon as i connect btstack gps with my
android using android's sharegps, btstack gps app crashes.
