Volatility is not a graphical program, it's command line based. As such, you
should start a command prompt by going to the start menu, selecting Run (or
typing directly in the box on windows 7), and then typing cmd. Start the
Command prompt, and then run late the volatility directory, and run "python
vol.py" from there. The text will stay around so you can read it and select
the appropriate command line options to ask volatility to do something.
I'm going to mark this as Invalid, since volatility is behaving exactly as it's
supposed to, but if you're still having problems, please continue to report
them on this issue.
