ItemPoolLimiter update? #27

Is there any chance to update ItemPoolLimiter? With even a few item/expansion mods the pool balloons a lot so getting mobility and healing is much harder and there isn't really another mod that does anything like this one.

It was discontinued a good while before Survivors of the Void and I have no intention of upkeeping it. If you're looking for an alternative I'd suggest ItemRoulette by ZeusesNeckMeat: https://thunderstore.io/package/ZeusesNeckMeat/ItemRoulette/

It seems like it does what ItemPoolLimiter does but better.

Huh, I haven't seen this one before, thank you. I'll take a look at it but it seems like it limits the item pool based on tier rather than category like your mod did, which means you could end up with a run that just doesn't have mobility or healing items and be crippling as a result for certain characters. Additionally the fact that the pool limiter in your mod turned off after the first loop was also a nice feature, so you get to establish something consistent then play with all the items after the first loop.

Edit: nevermind, reading a bit more and it does include category limitations. Thank you so much for letting me know about this mod.
