It works on my end. The description only changes in English, unfortunately. The other reason it could not be working is another mod changes the description.

For me, Unified Item Descriptions is what caused it to not show the correct description.

That would explain it, I have a mod that makes it so the new item descriptions are closer to the hopoo ones
