This is a Lion CoreAudio issue. The USB driver provided by Apple has no more
the integer mode.

You can submit a bug report to Apple about it: bugreport.apple.com

I use the Metric Halo LIO-8 DAC via Firewire. According to MH, they support
Integer Mode in LION because they have their own drivers. However, I cannot get
Audirvana to use Integer Mode. Is this due to Audirvana uses the CoreAudio?

With reqards to my previous post on Aug 23 concerning Metric Halo and Integer
Mode in Lion, after several e-mails with MH tech support, I learned that MH was
not aware that Lion did not support Integer Mode. As such, MH is in the same
boat (no Integer Mode support) as the other DAC, etc. manufacturers.
