I have been wondering if there are any limitations to SFI_MVLEM implementation. Because, when I used the official example here:

and change the ground motion direction from 1 to 2, opensees TCL closes without producing any results. This is caused by wipe or wipeAnalysis. Maybe this is triggered by the fact that the element uses 1-DOF internal nodes and the UniformExcitation pattern tries to assign load at their 2nd or 3rd DOF.
