Hello,

I have been following your book - Applied Spatial Statistics and Econometrics Data Analysis in R - with great interest and have pre-ordered it via Routledge website. I was going through the R script for chapter 6 and I noticed some issues.

Hi, many thanks for the interest! Book seems to be delayed because of coronavirus. I will include those remarks in the corrections of proofs.

best

Kathy

The polygon data '#R8_0 Data' is not part of the data you loaded here.

The variable codes XA31, XA28 and XA40 used in creating the outcome and predictors in the GWR and GTWR models do not exist in the dataset.

On a similar note to this, I am not seeing the variable "voivodeship" in the data_nts4_2019.csv file, which is used in chapter 1 for a few things, such as pie charts in section 1.9.3.

kkopczewska commented 1 year ago

Hi, that will be the variable which has 16 levels - voivodships or regions. These are the names of NUTS2 regions as "mazowieckie" etc. Best, Kathy
