icing water lines? #3

I do have a big tube of blue icing if you want to go that route.

There're easier ways to do it, I'm sure, but it might be useful for some nice flourishes.

or just a texture ala'

I'm not sure how to replicate icing like 1. in cartoCSS accurately enough (maybe an extra data layer with lots of buffers on it to exploit the shadow feature?), and I don't think Studio could wrap an image along a line smoothly enough.

We should definitely have a slightly different texture for coastal areas regardless. :+1:

Had 2 in mind but don't have a strong preference, whatever works best for you. As for coastal, drippy icing? Smoother, ripples well. Does that fit in with whatever plan you have?
