ExtMapTypeControl doesnt work with South America Traffic #211

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enter 
http://gmaps-utility-library-dev.googlecode.com/svn/tags/extmaptypecontrol/1.3/e
xamples/trafficexample.html
2. Put a high level zoom that show the traffic cities around the world.
3. Choose a South America city. 
4. The zoom will be aplied but the traffic wont apear.
