Adjusting white space between each chapter #220

I'm trying to remove the white space between end and the start of each chapter. I've illustrated this in the attached screenshot.

I've tried many different solutions without much success, including what was suggest in this forum.

This has been asked previously, see if the suggestion in issue 213, How to reduce the whitespace above the Chapter title text?, helps.
