Hello, You have met the challenge of merging when they are on PCB PTH and NPTH holes?

Kicad generates these files separately. Currently it solved so that the merging performed on twice. This procedure is uncomfortable.

It would not be anyone willing to work on editing program?

Pattern merging data: https://github.com/MLAB-project/gerbmerge/tree/master/MLAB_panel/GAT/2V/GAT204A/BP01B

For bad English I apologize.

Thank you for your help

Dear Jan, I did not use this program for a long time. Therefore it is not so easy to have all details at hand immediately.

In addition, I do not really understand, what you would like to tell me. Could you please try to explain it a little bit more detailed. I am no native English speaker myself. But with the help of Google Translate I can get by.

Sincerely

Karl-Heinz

Hello, The problem which Jan want to solve is following: KiCAD generates two separate Drill files one for non-plated holes and the second one containing plated holes. Depending on hole type in designed footprint. This separation of this two data sets is essential because it allows manufacturing plated and non-plated holes in one PCB layout. Unfortunately gerbmerge currently could not handle two separate Drill files and merging of design must be processed separately for each Drill file.

Hallo,

thank you for the clarification. I understand the problem now.

I do not know how quick I can have a look at the this topic. But it should be doable.

Do you know this thread: http://dangerousprototypes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4868 ?

I did not read everything as it was a long day today already. But it looks like a workaround.

Thank you for pointing my attention to this topic.

Sincerely

Karl-Heinz
