Spell Check not working #726

The spell check works only to underline the misspelled word with a red squiggly line. But when I tap on the line I get no suggestions as to a correction. When I use GBoard Keyboard I get suggestions to correct the word.

How can I get Hackers Keyboard to give me suggestions on a misspelled word.

I just to make clear when I type I* do get suggestions for words, just not when I go to a previously misspelled word.

I only see the red sqiggly line IF a spelling error is caught while entering a word, but typos and misspellings are often missed completely. (I made two mistakes while typing this that were uncaught.)

I don't recall ever getting correction suggestions when I tapped on a word entered into a document. It would be wonderful if Hacker's Keyboard would make those corrections, since no one seems to include a Spelling Checker in their text editor apps anymore.

If I change to Hacker's keyboard and type some misspelled words, the system doesn't seem to reconise them. Switching to another keyboard, the system recognises them as misspelled (some of them) from the spot that it switched.
