Describe the bug
I go between keyboards regularly for swipe to text and Hacker's for coding. Lately, I have been noticing that there is a huge gap (nearly expands half of the app) after closing the keyboard. To be clear, I have not seen this happen with any other keyboard.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Method 1:
Open any app (most seen in chrome and Microsoft Outlook apps)
Navigate to any part that has the textbox at the bottom of the screen
Type a bit in the selected textbox
Hide the keyboard (press back nav button)
Method 2:
Start the same as Method 1, only between steps 3 & 4, switch apps by using your recents nav button. Wait a few seconds in that other app, then return to the original app.
Expected behavior
Area occupied by keyboard clears and the full view of an app returns to normal
Observed behaviour
Area occupied by keyboard stays blank as if keyboard is still present.

OS: Android 12

Additional context
This bug can be hit and miss. It's doesn't always break, but it becomes annoying when it keeps bugging out app after app.
