Node 16 tests are no longer working (see announcement at telegram) as node 16 is EOL for a longer period now and upcoming js-controller 6 (already uaed at guthub testing) does no longer support it.

Please remove node 14 from test-and-release.yml workflow and adapt engines clause at package.json to require node 18 for the next normal (= non-patch) release.
