Screen blank but monitors on. System won't respond. #31

Seems to be a graphic card problem. I have a NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti On Dell XPS 8910.

Issues

  1. Monitors should be off but are not
  2. Monitors are on but system will not respond - i.e., monitors stay on but blank

I performed a graphic card firmware update using: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/nv-uefi-update-x64/ Waiting to see if this resolves the problem.

The firmware update did not help. Plugging into the motherboard's HDMI instead of mini-HDMI on graphics card resolved the issue.
